Is there a way to prioritise Mouse in Win 7

Sometimes when system is under load or some things on auto refresh in explorer, my mx revolution mouse struggles and lags.

Test a wired mouse and see if you have the same issue.

On another mouse logitech mx1000 keyb combo it works fine. ..and is plugged in permanently as i use the keyboard and my backup mouse.
It is only under load.bear in mind, .I run 20 programmmes...and intermittently..when some are auto refreshing/re-loading.
I f i open 10 programmes, it is fine.
