Is there a way to "snap" programs to another monitor in Windows 8?

Hi guys,

So my Displayfusion license just ran out, but since Windows 8 actually has the features I most enjoyed from Displayfusion (different, randomised wallpapers on each monitor and second taskbar only showing what's on the monitor) I have no need for it anymore.

However I have noticed the lack of one thing - being able to quickly switch which monitor a program is shown in. In Displayfusion you can click the middle mouse button and it would immediately swap to the other screen. Unfortunately I can't seem to figure out how to do that natively in Windows 8.

Is it possible or am I out of luck?

Thanks!

Windows Key + Shift + left/right arrows does that. Does in Windows 7 too. Without the shift it just 'snaps' to the sides of the current monitor.

Hmmm, thanks for the reply.

Is that the only shortcut to do that, or is there a way to change or condense that to say middle mouse button or something, somehow? Cus that is a bit of a mouthful to do every time you wish to swap monitors.

If you have software for your mouse such as Logitech setpoint it should let you bind custom keys/actions to your mouse buttons. If not, have a look at autohotkey
