Hi,
Does anyone know if there is an Iphone app for tracking your movements?

Reason I ask is that recently my "homing" instinct has been kicking in while drunk, trying to take me home. I suddenly sober up and I'm usually somewhere pretty random, sometimes no where near where I was supposed to be.

This has only started happening due to me recently going out more in a town away from home, so my usual spot on drunken navigation is slightly off-whack.

Does anyone know if there is an app that will track your movements so you can see the path you took on a night out?

Would just be quite interesting to see where I've gone to end up where I am :)

Usually that's the plan, to head to the taxi rank.

But sometimes I will go astray, I want to track these times

Not sure if there is one specifically for drunken wandering :p

There is quite a lot of sports apps which could be used, like Endomondo, Adidas micoach etc.

Think will all need to be activated beofre you set off though.

Trails will work as well.

Bear in mind that these will all depend on how good your GPS signal is, which may not be that great in a city.

Shame apple resorted their security on their tracking file. Could have used that...;)

resolution probably wouldn't be the greatest though!

Personally, if I needed to have an app track my wandering due to that level of drunkeness, I think I'd slow down a bit.

I could've done with this years ago when I drank. I once came to walking through a river 7 miles outside aberdeen. I only knew because I googled the street name next to the phonebox I tried to sleep in. Turns out those gaps at the bottom are to make them uncomfortable windy places to sleep. As I was wet and it was winter I dialed emergency services (dead phone thanks to river) and got directions home. Wasn't the first time either!

One of the many reasons I quit drinking lol

Haha luckily I haven't gone as far as walking through a river, but I was about 3 miles out of town walking into the country side.

I don't think totally quitting drinking.. yet, maybe just quitting doing shots :)

the navigating home isn't a problem :) Im just interested in how I get where I end up as sometimes it's pretty random.
