Is there an easier instrument to learn than guitar

Unfortunately, learning an instrument is difficult. Learning the guitar is difficult, learning the piano is difficult... It's all difficult.

The one word you need to learn is one of the most disliked words of all time, practice. The more you practice, the better you get, it's as simple as that. As others have said, having a decent tutor is invaluable so I would strongly recommend doing so.

Keyboard is easier than guitar.

If you want it even easier, get an AXiS 49 or something.

The keyboard is indeed easier than the guitar, i was upto grade 6 iirc on the keyboard when i was 15, picked up the guitar with a meaning to practice two months ago now, its not very forgiving but i'm doing alright and self teaching.

The guitar if far more rewarding than the keyboard ever was.

Anyone know? How does bass compare? I tried guitar but found it quite difficult. Is bass any easier as it has less strings yeah?

I did piano in high school as well but could only play with one hand, although now I can type with both hands so don't know if it would be worth going back to try again.

Playing the piano is very different to typing.

pick up a bass guitar. You can play basic tracks straight away and it encourages you a lot faster, as you get better then transition to guitar will be very easy

There are also tons of websites out there where you'll find loads of TAB/tutorials etc, not so much for other instruments.

Playing the piano is very different to typing. You have to balance the dynamics of the notes so the melody comes out and is phrased while the accompanying line is still present, but not detracting from the melody.

talking about advanced techniques, guitar advanced techniques are easier to learn than advanced bass techniques. It's a common point of debate but this usually comes out as the most common opinion, and playing both myself is also my own. Horses for courses.
