Is there an "image-search" program out there?

Is there a program that can find for example all the wide screen pictures, pictures of a certain resolution or date etc that i have in a given folder/drive? I know i can do this manually via windows but i need a faster/automated service. Thanks

Any other options; something simpler; akin to the windows power toys image re sizer for XP which was simply intergated into the shell. I would rather avoid having to upload all the files into a program

Unless you get something integrated into the shell I don't think there's much simpler than Picasa. I don't think you have to upload the pics into Picasa, it scans your computer for you and finds your pics.

For one thing is there a power toy image resizer like there was for windows XP for windows 7?

IrfanView is one Windows 7 compatible bulk image resizer I can think of. I don't think there's anything like that from Microsoft like the XP app.
