Is there any brand of 5850 that does not duel screen flicker

as title really. Or is flashing the bios the only way, to cure the powerplay crap.

The strange thing is I set MSI AB to start with windows and apply setting (725/1000) but it doesnt do it.

Do at little research and you will find the correct way to disable powerplay with afterburner.

1.Navigate to the MSI afterburner folder in programe files.

2.open the MSIAfterburner CFG file with note pad.

3.Look up EnableUnofficialOverclocking and change the value from 0 to 1 save and exit, restart afterburner.

4.For it to work you need to overclock your card, anything over the default clocks will disable powerplay.

Done that but its @ 400/1000 (but i have never set it to that) 3d does 950/1200

Nope pluged my LCD TV in clocks set to 3d 950/1200 and Im still getting the flickering (2d)

my asus 5850 doesnt flicker at stock settings. only when overclocked.

I think its duel screen problem.

I have tried 10.1 hot fix, 10.2s and the 10.3 preview.

It must be like processors, some overclock better than others.

This is not about ocing even at stock 725/1000 i get it.

Wonder if I should buy another one and just return this one.

How long do RMAs generally take.
