Hi all,

I currently have the following installed:
Kingston HyperX KHX1333C7D3/2G

And I am hoping to double the memory by adding another stick. But I can only find similar models, the ones I can find easily have either:

An extra "A" before the D3/2G ie;
Kingston HyperX KHX1333C7AD3/2G

or a C9 instead of C7 ie
Kingston HyperX KHX1333C9D3/2G

and often both together:
Kingston HyperX KHX1333C9AD3/2G

So can I use any or all of these together with my current memory?

I thought I'd be wise and check before buying.

Many thanks in advance.

Shayne.

C7 vs C9 will refer to the memories CAS or timings, where 7 is better, you should be able to use 9 in conjunction but the memory you have will have to be run at the higher timing, this is unlikely to have very much effect on performance
Cant help you with regards the A bit, sry
