Is there any motion detection mechanical keyboards with blue backlit LED?

Motion Detection keyboard?
Are you talking about just Mechanical?

CM Storm make some nice back-lit Mechanical keyboard, i will be purchasing one soon after seeing them at the iseries

What?
Motion detection....in a keyboard......
Need to ask.....why? o_o
Also what on earth do you mean by motion detection in anycase o_o

have no idea what is motion detection...

That's 2 of yea that don't have a clue? I'm having a hard time finding one of these. I guess I might wait for the Corsair K95 or K70. It doesn't have motion detection, but from what it looks like I might have to live without it. Cheers for the others trying to help:)

I think K95 is still not released for retail right?
I would get K90 as it would be in lower price and the mechanical keys are good enough already...

i did google a bit but i can find one or the other, i have a g110 (its not mechanical) it has a button to turn the backlight on and off, maybe you could get something like the Gigabyte osmium http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=KB-027-GI i think it has a wee slider or switch to turn the backlight on and off....plus it looks awesome

Meaning when I place my hand over the keyboard the keys light up ready to use. Otherwise the keys are off.

I also have the G110. I had set up a script to turn backlight on for 5 mins from the last key press, maybe this is something you can do?

All G Series Logitech Keyboards support scripting in Lua so you can write a script to illuminate keys after first key press for X amount of minutes if you want to. You would only have to press say back space before typing then :)
