Is there any point playing bfbc2?

Ok I have bf3.

I am concernded/saddened that

1. I never really played bfbc2
2. I never played much bf2

So, its liek I went

bf1942
bf vietnam
bf3

I skipped a few.

Should I leave the past in the past (inc bf2142) and just play bf3 for my bf online kicks?

AM i missing out on these games is there any point to play them.

If a guy bought his 1st ever pc and was given bf2, bfbc2 and bf3 would you tell him to just play bf3?


Other issue is levelling up requires time...therefore playing between games means less level up.
 
I would tell him to install all 3 if levelling up didn't take so long. I would play BF3 and level up then install BC2 with Vietnam because that is a great expansion pack.
 
ah well when b2k comes out next week no need for bf2 unless I want other bf2 maps? But these are 4 of the best?

BFBC2 I may give a go. Its meant to be better in rush and bf3 better on conqeust?

I read someone say BF3 is already losing players to other games, I dont know if you'd want BF2 except for some of the player mods they make.
They are all quite similar and obviously bf3 has the best graphics, Try arma 2 or arma 3 when it comes out, save the money for them

its losing players cause people are ranking up seeing there isnt much life in it once ranked ;) those that have ranked up highly are playing things like skyrim or gone back to there fav back mp up fps like cod 4 , cs , bc2 which are all better !

bc2 does the team work thing a lot better than bf3 currently hopefully they tweak it but why would they want you to play it for years ?

they want you ready to buy there next itteration in oct next year.
 
BF3 is pretty cool. Won't comment on it fully yet because I ALWAYS played BC2 with a large group of friends. Everyone's kinda busy at the mo but I play BF3 with a couple of mates and it's still enjoyable. I got a better start at BF3 than BC2, and the recent patch has made it a lot more enjoyable (was a bit of a drag before).

Will bf3 be better come map pack next week?

I like to play COD4mw1

I see what u mean about lvling up. I seem to only play with aim to lvl and unlock things rather than enjoy the games. In bf veitnam and CD etc there was no unlocks I only played to enjoy in that moment.
 
I like the maps better on bc2 you can really rack the kills up but on bf3 the action seems a bit hit and miss some maps you can get 20-30 kills others u barely see any action.
