is there any way to use sata in ide?

I've got an ide laptop and a 250gig sata laptop hdd. Is there any way to use it?

Like an adaptor or something?

Don't want to have to sell the hdd, have thought about using it external, which I may end up having to do, but would obviously prefer to have it internal.

everything I've found looks a bit bulky to fit in the laptop.

I've noticed and IDE version of the HDD is only about £7 more.

Wonder if they would let me return it and buy the IDE one. Will have to get in touch with them and ask
