Is there anything drastically better than a TRU?

Im actually looking at the silver arrow now, thought about watercooling. But the cost is prohibitive, now that im running low profile ram it seems like a pretty cheap option.

I doubt you'll see much, if any, difference switching from one decent air cooler to another. The only real way forwards is custom water, yeh it's pricey, but it could well slash 10-20 degs of your temps as opposed to the 5 (if you're lucky) of switching air coolers.

Are you running watercooling yourself mate? It does sound intriguing, and ive specced up components for doing it. New it would cost about £250.00 for me, (ive got some high quality fittings and tubing already), bitspower barbs x10 and 4m of masterkleer 7/16" tubing. Id just need a pump, res, cpu block and rad. Cooling gpu's is definitely out of the question though. Id probably have to get the case modded as well, as id prefer to have the rad mounted internally. 360 rad in the roof of the case. Lian Li A70F which has the space.

With intel burn test it hits close to 80c at 4.5ghz. Thats a little too warm for my liking. So either i stick at 4.3 or swap out the TRU for a silver arrow.

Yes I am, switching from an Antec H2o 920 with 2 Vipers in push/pull to the custom loop took about 15 degs off my 2500K load temps at 4.7Ghz. It is well worth the money I think, but I guess it really depends on whether or not you have the spare cash. If you can't fork out for it all at once I suggest saving up and buying one piece (or a few pieces) at a time, that way you don't skimp on components.
