The only advantage fuel cells have is the quick refuel of the vehicle and ability to easily re-use some of the current infrastructure, but with batteries now gaining quick charge ability ...

Battery electric make more sense due to the difficulty of generating hydrogen for fuel cells (until we have lots of Gen4 nuclear reactors that is)

Storage of hydrogen is almost as big a problem as producing it (which is very energy intensive).

I'm not convinced hydrogen will ever be a solution except for small scale fuel cells....for cars it's not looking promising.

Yes, I work part-time (well ~3 full days a week), and have done so for several years ... while also finishing my studies (which is an automotive/mechanical masters degree)


I wonder when the next thread where he asks me this is ... since I know for a fact that I have answered that question before in a previous thread.
