Im a level 21 Drenai Warrior, Im bored of ashenvale, ive done it before, i havent really explored that much though, is there other areas that are suitable for the early 20 levels that will give me a bit of a change?

I really just hate the scenery of Ashenvale.

If you're level 21, go Redridge first, then do the first part of Duskwood (as it's closer), then move onto Wetlands.

I'd recommend Redridge Mountains and Duskwood to be honest.

I absolutely hate Ashenvale, if I'm levelling a night elf then I drag him across to Westfall at level 11/12.

I LOATHED Ashenale when I played WoW - Hillsbrad is pretty good

There are no quests for Alliance in Hillsbrad until you're pushing past level 30, though Horde get a load in the low 20s from Tarren Mill.

I'd go with the Redridge (most of the quests should be green, so easy to clear and reasonable experience) to Duskwood route. Duskwood has some really nice quest chains, the only trouble being that they tend to send you from one end of the zone and back. Repeatedly. I'd definitely recommend it even with that in mind.

EDIT - another vote here for Ashenvale sucking badly

Duskwood would probably be my pick for around the level you are, was probably my favorite area for alliance, if not the whole game. Very atmospheric and a good storyline.

Is it a long walk from Ashenvale?

Iirc you'll have to get a boat from Darkshore to Menethil Harbour (Wetlands), run through Wetlands, Loch Modan and Dun Morogh to Ironforge (get the flight path). Then get the Deeprun Tram to Stormwind and run through Elwyn Forest to Redridge or Duskwood. Probably a good 30+ minutes' worth :(

Alternatively you could run from Ashenvale to Ratchet, get the boat to Booty Bay and then run through Stranglethorn Vale (probably getting killed a couple of times by the level 40+ mobs) to Duskwood. This route may be a little quicker, but you'll miss out on more important flight paths on the way.
