Is there much difference between these two SSDs

The Pre order Adata drive for £119:

The Adata looks like a slightly higher spec for a tenner less, so I would be better off pre ordering that one right?

Adata isn't exactly the brand you want to entrust your entire OS to.

And there seems to be a lot of OCZ related failures as of late, not just SSDs but other compoents too.

Corsair Force 3 120GB is the one to go for:

OcUK stock ships with 1.3.2 firmware so just update to 1.3.3 via the Windows utility and it will be running flawless.

But from having read a lot of posts and having built a PC with an SSD the Crucial ones seem to be the best ones at the moment for money and performance.

It's up to you if you want to stretch the extra £20+ they cost but they're not delivering £20 worth of extra performance compared to say the Force 3.

they are main manufacturers of lots of different ssd companies (Corsair for instance)

I know that but I never really saw their own products as the best you could get for the money considering their price!

i thought agility3 and force3 have the same controller which is the culprit behind all those issues

id be interested to see RMA return numbers of pre-and-post the firmware update that was meant to fix them

btw my vertex 2 died 2 weeks after applying the firmware update that was supposed to address these issues..

My Force 3 has been running 2 weeks no problems, firmware updated on day 1. A mate of mine has had his 1 month longer than me and his is also perfectly fine.

Both bought from OcUK.

individual cases dont really say a lot for failure rates as a whole

I already have my OS on a 64 gb C300, and only considered a 120 gb for games with the adata's pre order price.

Since its cheaper, I think I will preorder the adata.
