Ok I remeber when I use to be on the PC side of things 4 years ago I had software that can resume download if I decide to finish of later etc. Is there such thing for Mac?

Firefox's own download manager will do that and I use iGetter for Rapidshare stuff.

I used to use DAP on Windows which isn't available for Mac so I found Speed Download which is very similar.

Is there no freeware software that does this? I am sure it was freeware that i had for windows but no idea what it was called.

I know the one in Firefox is free but I dont use firefox I tend to like Safari more

safari does this also if you cancel it normally will resume.
