How the hell did this turn into questioning my confidence in my sexuality lol. So a checkout girl knows to use nail varnish remover for cleaning cpu's?

It was a joke btw, I wouldn't expect a shop assistant to believe I was using panty liners, nor you using nail varnish remover for what it was designed for

lint free cloth, special stuff, honestly,how often do you actually need to clean your thermal paste!!!!, i use a tissue when i need to do mine

I just removed it with an old sock and it came off fine (yes, thermal paste guys )

doesn't the freezer 7 pro have paste already applied to the bottom? which shoudl be pretty good, IIRC.

It comes with Arctic MX-1 pre-applied which is pretty good stuff and gets good reviews. However I have found that this sets quite hard after a period of use making it difficult to swap your processor/HSF. So now I always remove it and apply AS5 instead.

i use my finger, tbh 1- 2c doesnt make that much difference. Although it has to be said i think im losing the OC bug.
