I just purchased a NEC Multisync 2090 UXI monitor.Screen overall look fantastic. However, sitting just in front of the monitor, I have noticed that the screen left side is slightly darker than the middle and the right side. Icons in the middle and on the right side of the desktop are slightly brighter thah the ones on the left side. So if for example I you move a photograph from left to right, the photograph increase its luminosity. I have replaced my Dell 1905FP with a NEC and is my first time with a S-IPS panel. Is this a phenomenoum related to those types of panels or is it a backlight issue ?
Regards

Have you tryed adjusting the brightness/contrast and also try turning off any special picture modes the monitor might have to see if that helps.

If it doesnt improve soon get it replaced.

It happens in any picture mode.
Backlight bleeding can be noticed to the left side, along screen frame when booting-up computer BIOS information etc.
Sound like a replacement is needed.
