Is this a card problem?

I have posted this here, as I'm guessing it is a possible card issue. Looking for confirmation for solving a small issue before it becomes a major issue.

Running dual monitors 1 xDVI-I and 1 x HDMI on W10

About once a week I start-up the computer and I get this.

If I restart the computer again, problem solved.

Have re-seated the GPU, Memory, cables etc..
Could this be a symptom of something bad about to happen?

Looks like the gpu what do you have ? check the temps but it could also be the psu.

GTX680 Phantom 4096M. Will have to check to see if there is any warranty left.

Does this test give you any results. I ran it for about 20mins then hit esc, but could not find any recorded data?

Don't use that thing ._.
Furmark should be eradicated from the Internet.

Just loop something like Unigine Valley and see what happens (furmark abuses the card in an unrealistic way and might just kill it for good).

+2 FurMark kills GPU's, don't use it.

ok ran Unigine Valley .
It seems ok. The only thing odd I could see is that in the top left-hand corner it states it is running Memory 3004 MHZ. The card is 4096mb.

Is this normal. Should I be looking for anything else.

Yes that's normal.

4096MB is how much memory the card has (4GB)
3004Mhz is what speed its running at.

They are two different things and its all right

As you mentioned hurry up and check the warranty. If it has any contact them.

Well Gainward support got back to me this morning and it is out of warranty. Guess I'll carry on until it meets it's maker!

If cold boot is the problem
Then high possibility the solder on the gpu is cracked
If the gpu heats up it expands the chip and makes contact
On cold boot it dose not make contact so broken video
With a warm gpu it powers up ok

Given the problem is only intermittent and goes away with a reboot, i would leave it for now until it gets worse or you upgrade, not worth cooking this one yet.
