Is this a good computer?

Nope im going to start fresh my budget is up to £1100 and thats without the os and i wanted a rig that will last for long thats why i prefer i7 to i5 because i no i have more power

Few things to note:

You don't need i7 for gaming, not many at the moment make use of the hyper-threading.

You only need 8GB RAM for gaming.

The Gigabyte motherboards are all very similar around that price range, may as well just get the Z77-D3H unless you are going to use the extra features of the more expensive ones.

Jack for games the i7 wont be beneficial since the only difference is hyperthreading which games do not support.

If you want to Xfire in the future, go for the Z77X-D3H.

also on this site im seeing u get crysis 3 for free when u buy a amd 7900 series graphics card? but the game aint out yet

But im assuming sometime in the futur games will use hyperthreading? and then i wouldent have to upgrade?

I think some at the moment do 'make use' of it in some ways, but it is not really needed. If you have the extra money, just get an i7 to put your mind at rest.

oh sweeeeet :D well then im gonna buy from here haha

So would someone build me a proper sweet gaming system with i5 then as no one reccomeneds the i7 lol but i7 has better cache? i dont no what that means tbh tho lol

You would have to build it yourself or speak to OCUK who can help.

A lot of people think the forum members work for OCUK, only a very few do :)
