Is this a native spider...?

I only ask because A, I haven't seen one like it before, and B, it's in the toilet at our unit...Where we get regular shipments from Thailand. It sits in the middle of its web all the time too...

It's not going to jump on my love spuds and try to bite them off while I'm having a slash is it...?

When I get home, I'll post pics of the GIANT harvestman that lives at the unit...Legspan of nearly 5"!

Having just google imaged 'spider from Thailand' (it's what all the scientists do) I'd say it doesn't come from there, as Thai spiders look roughly the size of the average human head :eek:
