ok I have a few pc here, was gonan upgrade the amd machine but its gonna be the intel one. Ok as it stands now.

asus p5w dh (keeping this)
e6400
artic freezer 7 pro
2gb geil value pc6400
evga 7950gt
wd 250gb hd

what I want to upgrade to

intel q6600
2gb geil ultra pc6400
bfg 8800gt oc2 (would get the one on special but not paid yet)
samsung 500gb hd
use the existing cooler or use the intel one

is this upgrade worth it????? or would just getting a new hd & gfx card be better?

Thanx

Just upgrade the graphics card. The rest is perfectly adequate for gaming at the moment. Any performances gains wouldn't be worth the money, IMO.

You could add the additional HD though if free space is an issue.

as mentioned gfx card will be the best investment out of the lot, unless the hard drive is ide cant see it would be worth updating imo.

if you're upgrading from the 6400, would make sense to get the new 8xxx rather than the quad, if you're mobo can handle it.

cooler wise use the ac7 rather than the retail one.

this mainboard wont handle *** newer cpu's, been reading about 1333 fsb issues, got an asus blitz aswell but it h8's steam
