Is this a sure thing? (Betfair us election)

Mmm, ongoing allegations of which not a single one has stuck because for some reason the lawyers are unwilling to make a fraud claim in front of a judge.

The judges are making a special point of asking if they are bringing a fraud claim and if they have any evidence of fraud just to make it crystal clear what the lawyers are trying to get into the courtroom.

Obviously the implication is the lawyers are trying to bundle the smell of a fraud claim onto a trivial but technically legit separate matter but they just can't find a judge dumb enough to let it through.

Cases dropping dead all over and some teams deciding they're not being paid enough to humiliate themselves and quitting before they have to go before a court.

You can make an educated guess about how substantial an allegation is.

These ones are on the level of a kid claiming the dog ate their homework when they don't have a dog and they never do their homework.

The total instances of fraud alleged are in the 100's or 1000's of votes at most. All 12 of these brought to judges thus far have been immediately dismissed for lack of evidence.

The popular vote margin is in the millions.

It's been pretty clear for a while that the fraud claims are intended to a) allow Trump to save face about losing and b) milk some extra money from their supporters rather than actually achieve anything. The first several thousand dollars of each donation to the 'fraud legal fund' goes directly to the RNC or to pay the Trump campaign debts.

They will have NO impact on who wins the popular vote

A quick glance shows there isn't any traditional bookies offering this bet.

There must be plenty of people happy to chuck away their 4% on the off chance of winning against Biden.

It's just the opposite side of the coin, highly unlikely to win, at a small loss, vs highly unlikely to lose at a large loss.

You're talking about winning the election. The OP said winning the popular vote.
If OP is correct, that looks like free money to me.

OP isn''t correct he's muddled things a bit by saying popular vote, that is not how betfair are settling this market - it's whoever actually wins.

Edit actually that's wrong - sorry there is a less liquid popular vote market but it's only offering like 1.03 at the mo.

that's a complete no brianer though...

You're reading the wrong rules

OP said Biden was 1.06 but at the time he was 1.03 in popular vote and 1.06 in outright winner.

I still wouldn't risk £100 for the sake of £3 when you have claims of fraud and insecure Dominion voting machines with private servers based overseas (laughable for an election really), we're to believe that Biden won the Presidency with record numbers yet the Democrats lost ground in the House and didn't reclaim the senate.

Well yeah, ever heard of a never Trump Republican?

Much more likely than a secret Democrat conspiracy to electronically change the reported vote counts for President, but leave the other branches they need for an actual legislative agenda even though they're on the same ballots, AND rely on none of the thousands of people in the vote count apparatus noticing anything amiss.

The hand recount in Georgia is matching the electronic one pretty much exactly.

So yeah, Biden won the presidency with record numbers.
