Is this advisable?

I had Windows Media 11 installed happily. But it seems a recent game I installed does not like Windows Media 11. It keeps crashing every 30 mins. So what I did was roll back WMP11 to Windows Media 10. I'm using WMP10 happily and my game doesn't seem to crash anymore.

My question is, is it okay for me to use Windows Media 10?

If it works now then sure go ahead and use it. It depends on how much and what you use it for though. I barely use it at all so version 10 is fine for me.
