Just need to make sure bios is updated. Not sure if that board takes Asus version of flashing from USB stick without ram or PSU installed ...
The newer the stock, more recent the bios installed on it

I would go with a Ryzen R3 1200 build over that i3. If you really want an Intel cpu then the G4560 is much better value although out of stock on here.

Or if not in a rush wait for the non Z370 boards to come out an go with the newer i3 8100 which is now a 4 core/4 thread cpu.

The motherboard may need a bios update to take the cpu this can only be done with a skylake cpu.

I didnt get the 7100 i got the 6100 do u think that will be better since the cpu ismt as new
