I was in Tesco a couple of days back. This trolley was at the checkout next to mine, so I snapped it up. 21 crates - 20 in the trolley and 1 on the conveyor belt (top-left of photo). That's 252 cans! The cashier happily served them, although wouldn't it been cheaper to have gone through a Cash & Carry or on a booze cruise? As for effort, I give them 2/10 as it was Carling :p

It depends on the store policy....many stores (including Tesco) have a limit on how many of a particular offer you can buy in any single transaction....although it is routinely ignored.

People are indeed allowed to exchange their money for goods.

Even if the goods, in this case, happen to be urine scented tap water.

We used to do the same years back at Makro so that we wouldn't have to nip out every other day to resupply at the offies or something over the holidays.

Currently booze cruises to france are only worth it you're after wine (although there will be a huge resurgence if minimum pricing kicks in, as well as homebrewing).

No, that's illegal, the cans are above the level of the trolley,
Health&Safety hazard, a good job nobody was run down by that obviously out of control basket.

Or

Christmas food shop - like a boss, although there should have been a bottle of sherry in there for the ladies.

wimmins, take note.
