Is this an OK raid 0 setup

Ive setup my new samsung spinpoint 1tb and seagate barracuda 500gb in RAID 0. Im seeing read/write speeds of 200mb/s +.

Is this an OK setup as ive never used RAID b4

The speed looks fine, getting on for double the speed of a single drive.

FYI:

1) You've used 1.5TB worth of drives to create a 1TB array so you've lost 500Gb from the Samsung.

2) If one drive fails, or the controller has a hissy fit, you've lost all the data. You need a good back up solution.

Ye ive got a 500gb external with all my games so its fine, i dont care about loosing 500gb i was never going to use that much memory anyway
