Is This Artefacting? *screens*

I have a Gainward 7900GTX.

GFX Core Temp is about 40-41 C.

I already know I have a faulty stick of RAM PC randomly restarts during gaming andd other activites and I also get the 'blue screen of death', maybe could be linked w/ Arfefacting?

A strange line also follows Captain Price in COD2 on the 2nd Brit mission in the rain.

You've got a 7900, there's LOADS of problems with them. It's the RAM on the card that causes the artifacting, try returning all clocks to stock, or even reducing the RAM speed to see if it fixes this.

when that happened to me, it took me many months to figure out, but finally found out that it was overheating. the fan on *** card wasnt spinning. Not with a 7900, with a Geforce 4 Ti 4600, but that was the cause.
I'd take a look at it, in case it is.

From my experiance that looks like heat problems.

Artifacting looks more like a 2d snow shower at the extreme end or when the Video RAM goes bad a Checkerboard effect of pink/green pixels

7900 says it all. RMA it, this is the first stage IIRC.

Absolutely, it's so definitely not overheating, he even explains that in his first post.

Its a buggered 7900, as they are all buggered, even Nvidia have said they are all buggered.

Far too true.

Try to get a refund or something if you can and buy an eVGA one, they're not buggered.

think im having the same problem, would i be able to RMA it and add the extra for a 7950?

cheers
