It's fine, it's where the old -5V rail would be, but this was removed in ATX revision 2.01.

What are the specs, new build?
If new build is the 4 or 8 pin installed for cpu power.

Lol I missed that out on a build once went all the way back to the shop ( a train journey away ) and they pointed out what I had done ....... very embarassing. Turns out though that they had sold me the wrong processor anyway so I got an upgrade out of it but yeah make sure everything is plugged in

cosmos s case

Q9550 CPU with AC freezer Extreme CPU fan

asus p5q pro motherboard

asus engtx 285 gfx card

fatality sound card

6 GB RAM
3 HDD taken directly from old computer
cooler master real modular M850 PSU

ihave tried both the 8 pin and the 4 pin for CPU

can u take out the motheboard out off case then place it on a non metal surface, power it up with only m/b, cpu, gpu, memory to see if it post's "ps plug in mouse, keyboard, monitor and power connectors. if that works mount it back in CASE, then get it to post if works, attach HD to see if post screen shows that as well, if so attach cd drive, floopy! etc with power off etc then continue, try this and post back.
