specs:

2gb ddr2 667mhz ram
320gb hdd
ASUS MV2
400 W PSU
8600GTS
AMD X2 5600+
LARGE CASE
1 optical drive

with 3 spaces free


if i was to upgrade this im pretty sure i would need a better PSU as the one the computer came with is very stable but i have no idea what brand it is, also is it even worth upgrading this computer just yet?

budget £300 on upgrades the case is large so no worrys their i took a look inside and the motherboard is in 1 corner with like 2/3 of the case empty lol

i didnt want to make a double topic so ill ask my question here is this 3dmark 05 score average for my 11,650 3d marks this is in the 05 edition though cant afford 06 just yet

Well the best upgrade is probally the 8600GTS and the psu.

Get a corsair 520w and a 2900XT and your done.

Depends on what the use of the computer is really. If its gaming then id probably suggest waiting for the next generation of GPU's to come out and buy one then.

But as you suggested the corsair PSU would be a good enhancement.
 
Fair enough I suppose. Personally, and economically, I would be reluctant to spend £100+ just to get a few more FPS on a game, with a system that is otherwise pretty good.

Everyone to their own :p

11,621 3d marks in 05 this is correct for my system yes/no?
