hi just recieved this q6600 from Bay and to me looks dead on first picking it up.
just the three chips

I have once examined the cpu took the photos etc placed it in a gigabyte m/b and no boot then took it back out replaced the intel 3.4ghz cpu and boot screen no problem.

any thoughts people :-)
 
Better to buy from OCUK members market. I just bought my very first Q6600 G0 for £80 from MM and am very happy with it. It has a very good VID of 1.2625V and running smoothly.:). I have previously looked at buying from ebay but it scares me. 'Shudders'.
 
thats broke. defo - had a mate send me a pc with a c2d saying it was broken and it looked just like that :/ contact the seller and ask for a refund include those pics

agree as I have recently did the same a E8500 cpu works Great. did a 3 hour burn in test . mate spotted it then asked how much and I said it was 55 pounds purchased, I said "give me the money guv" and we had a sale :-) and he is chuffed to bits with it :-)

yep sent a email to the seller explaining all and Phoned ebay afterwards I'am awaiting 2 days for a reply then getting my refund through ebay.
 
update just received this reply from the bay user.

OTOH I did sell my E6600 FOR £28 more than I paid for it :)
 
Indeed, seller is pulling a fast one here. I suppose theres a slight chance its some computer noob who didnt know what he was doing, killed it, couldn't get it working, and then sold it presuming it was working but he was just a noob :cool:

Still, you deserve a refund - fight it all the way!
