To start off with i will need to explain what i do and what i need to do, I work in the IT insurance bracket and am only 1 of about 3 actual computer nerds on the claims floor, one of the main stresses of my colleuges is that they are do not and are not really intersted in computer processors which is causing them loads of stress as they do not know what processor will replace what for at least like for like, the stress has actually made some of the claims handler girsl cry, I can understand this as i suppose it would seem way moe complicated than it actually is if you know nothing about this.
What i want to do is create some sort of chart of proggy that will allow the none techie's to enter or find a specific processor, so for instance a Pentium 4 mobile 2.8ghz and then this will have a list of all the processors that will be at least a like for like replacment as the confusing part for the none techies as the core duo's and solo's don't run at them speeds anymore and trying to explain to them the differance in perfomrance with efficiancy's and cache and fsb, so i would like to make some sort of chart for them to enter a processor or find it in a drop down box and then it will come up with the suitable like for like processor.
Can i do this or would it just be better to creat some sort of chart?
Thanks
