This site claims that when doing even bets if a run of 8 blacks comes up an exploit in the software will automaticaly make red come up on the 9th and vice versa.

Anyone know if this is for real or is it a scam to encourage people to sign and bet with the specific casinos in question?

ps i want another ufo thread, I actually enjoy reading those things

I was playing recently and 8 blacks came up, then 4 reds, and then another 8 blacks. The dealer even told me to take red next but I didn't. It was red again (for another 4 times before I left). Needless to say I was walking home that night.

Obviously just coincidence but this reminded me of it. Bloody annoying it was! :p

i hate long runs of a straight colour. usualy after 4 i get very wary, if im at a casino i sit out a few runs or switch to odd/even or hi/lo. there's no magic number in which to switch. the other day i was at the casino and a run of 10 blacks came up. loads of people ran to the table and bet on red and sure enough red came up however a few people on that table had been wiped out prior to that red by betting on it coming up before it did.

frenzy working on another ufo thread.

Why would such a thing exist? Companies selling online roulette aren't going to be that sloppy with their software. It's not a case of "Yeah, Bob had a quick look at the software last night while Eastenders was on and it looks fine" "OK, that'll do, let's go live with it".

Well maybe some fly by night questionable casino but proper regulate casinos will be regulated (cant remember the name of the organisation) in this country anyway.

One of the things they look for is an approved source of random. The company we did a test for had a special box, a sealed unit which was a pseudo random number generator but one of the best on the market.

I guess some dodgier casinos might just program in a rand() function and there could be an element of predictability in that. The long and short of it is that this is their business and if such a flaw existed it would be fixed PDQ!

I have done this. I initially bought into it and put £100 into it. I then got up to £400 and all was going well, until a row of infinite blacks came up and I lost it all. It's a lot more likely to loose it than they say it is.

completely pointless - they've already got an edge - putting that in allows you to exploit them, no reason to do it.

I read it. It basically says that after 8 of one colour you're guaranteed that the next ball will be the opposite colour? What a load of tosh! Random numbers are random.
