Is this Guinness Surger thing a con?

does it make a difference to the taste as to whether it has a head or not? :o

Erm... Smoothness!

IMO the Guinness you get using the surger unit tastes better than at the local.

Keep drinking it and you will develop a taste. Or alternativley wait till you reach your 30's an you automatically develop a taste for real ale and Guinness (or stout!)

:D :p

This is true, I have now started to drink and ENJOY beer!

As a comited cider drinker this came as something of a surprise, however real ale/ stout would not be my choice for a heavy nights drinking, it seems to do funny things to my tummy :o

That's perfectly normal... It's your digestive tract adjusting to the real beer it's getting ;)

*going to Tesco after work... tempted for the gimickry*

I despise all lager. It just tastes like plastic; horrible, especially Stella Artois.

Ales all the way, and Guinness of course.

Got told yesterday that I was the first girl that someone had encountered that drinks bitter/ales. He obviously hasn't before encountered the right type of girl, lol :D

It all started a couple of years ago when I was drinking Corona, and then someone gave me a taste of their Newcastle Brown Ale - never looked back since!

Is it wrong that ive already developed this taste and im only 17
Ive tasted the guinness from the surger and it does seem to taste nice and crisp and fresh much better than the normal cans that can taste a bit wrong at times
