is this hard drive any good?

im thinking of ordering one of these to go along with a upgrade im doing

i currently have a cheap hitachi 500gig that i bought from the purple shirts out of desperation when my old hard drive gave up the ghost but it seems to be quite slow

The F1 is still a very decent HDD, however, for another £5 you can get a new F3

F3 is quicker. Its 2 x 500g platters instead of 3.

I recently replaced a 320GB and a 250GB 7200.10 with 2x 1TB F3s and I couldn't be happier :cool:

just a small update to say i got the 1tb F3 and im well impressed

it feels a lot quicker than my old drive
