Is this how MM works (ie MM rules broken)?

Making an offer - keep it to thread. Once the seller has ok'd the offer, take it to email.
Making a split request - keep it to email.

You must confirm the offer in the thread though after the seller has agreed to split.

Oh and there's a sticky in the MM for these questions like these.
 
I've always posted as far as the offers go it's just the splitting that i have mailed about, My head memory suxs.
All my deals in M&M have been sweet though & it's always the first place i look for anything PC related. :cool:
 
You have no way of proving j.col offered more via email, or that the seller asked for more by email so end of the day, you just have to assume the seller accepted the £20 and chose not to deal with you.

I'd have thought policing price changes/deals via email would be next to impossible unless one party complains to a Don, right?
