Is this Limescale?

Looks like a urine sample with sediment. That's not limescale.

Inneresting.

Has there been work nearby? Looks like crap in the pipe. Run the taps for a while

Do you mean the colour or the bits? I'm talking specifically about the bits floating around. The off colour I think is a little bit of coffee still being in the bottom of the mug. If it was crystal clear with just those bits floating around?
Thanks,

Limescale doesn't look like that. It looks like organic material. I wouldn't drink that. Run the taps for a while to see if it clears.

It came from the kettle
Where did the water come from before it went into the kettle? I still don’t think that looks like limescale. If the water is going in clean, perhaps someone has been using the kettle to catch their bunion shavings?

If you’re concerned about your kettle, wash and/or descale it. Kilrock works well.

White vinegar works well as a kettle descaler Rinse thoroughly and do a boil after cleaning, dispose of down the sink when cool.

Buy yourself some cheap distilled vinegar from Aldi, then add 250ml of the vinegar to your kettle followed by 250ml of water. Bring the kettle to a boil, allow it cool, preferably for at least an hour, drain the vinegar and water, then rinse the kettle a few times. Finally fill the kettle up with only water, boil it, then pour it away before use.
