I am going out with a girl called Melissa and we have only been going out 2 weeks but i am getting very strong feelings for her that i have never felt before! Having never felt "love" before i thought i would describe them and ask if it is love or just a strong feeling of likeing somebody.

I think about her every minute of every day, she is the first thing i think of when i get up or go to bed, when i see her i go all warm especially my stomach which gets butterflies, and i feel full of life and evergy. My knees do actually turn t jelly sometimes when we are talking to each other. she makes me so happy and everything she does, no matter how small it makes me smile. i was wondering is this love?

I am only 19 so i thought i was a bit young to experience love, so i was wondering anyone who is in love do you feel what i feel? or do you feel differently? or am i wrong in thinking i am in love?

i would do anythin for her too!

Sounds like young love to me, which is an intense, distorted version of the real thing.

There's nothing to say you can't be in love at 19. People's feelings differ.

I like to think I've been on the verge of falling for someone once. It's just the constant thinking about them, and being very nervous when you go to meet them... even though you've seen them everyday for the past few years.
 
I'm in charge of Love and can officially confirm or deny wheter you are in love or not. But that would be telling...

Although on a serious note this is about the most positive relationship thread GD has seen
 
she goes to salford uni but lives in wythenshaw, and if you come near her agw 01 grrrrrrrrr (waves fist) only jokin, im not the jealous type, usually anyway but i think i maybe heading in that direction :(

Awww, that's loverly :)

See, typically I think that's 'textbook' love, i.e. those points you make would probably come up in answers if you were to ask 'how do you know when you're in love?'. However, with it being the first time you've ever felt like this, and that you've only been going out 2 weeks, it could also just be a strong case of infatuation.

I hope it's love. :)

seriously tho, probably lust more than love at the moment, but the 2 feelings merge very quickly
 
way too early to tell, feelings can change over time

off course as you have just got together she is going to be all you can think about
 
Since you've been together such a short time I'd say it's just puppy love. Of course it could develop into much more than that so stick with it!

19... too young for love.... blimey, i was head over heals in love about 5 times atleast befor i was 19.... have fun mate, and rember women are just like preying mantises, after you copulate sometime or other they will rip your head off and eat it!

I cant post a pic as she is very photogenic (is that the right word) she wont even let me put her photo on msn let alone a forum of this size!

But she has brown hair with bits of blonde in, greeny brown eyes, very slim, medium size chest (not to big, not too small) just right :D and she has amzin legs, but she is a dancer so she would have! and that makes her very flexible, and i will regret saying that when the dirty guys in the back start howling away! :D

And she got a GREAT bum too!

What are the chances that she actually goes on the forum for the first time ever today and sees this?
 
2 weeks is a very short time mate - have you known her/been friends for longer? Its great that you feel that enjoy every second. I felt the same things for my current GF and if i'm honest still do. we've been together almost a year and i still get butterflys when i see her. :}
