Is this N73 now a brick?

Scenario: N73 connected to PC. Updating firmware. Update progress: 50%.

PC reboots.

Phone wont switch on.

Is it a novelty paperweight now or what?

Sounds like a job for the Nokia Service Centre, but there's no harm in trying a hard reset first (not sure what they key sequence is for that model) - don't get your hopes up though.

Sounds like it maybe screwed then . Same thing happened to N95, but the above combination reset it.

It appears to be dead, maybe try and call at your nearest Nokia centre and see if they can do anything to revive it.

A Nokia service centre should be able to revive it without any problem. The alternative is to send it freepost to Nokia and they'll sort it out.

No, I use a Nokia N95 8Gb which I bought the day it came out. This is my old N73 which I gave to my Dad.
