Hello
My desktop PC is running Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit. I have a home network comprising of the following
Virgin superhub acting as a modem > router 1 acting as a router and wifi access point > 24 port switch > Router 2 and router 3, both configured as wifi access points only with DHCP disabled.
I've noticed that when my desktop PC is connected to my network via ethernet cable, Windows Vista shows the following in Network and sharing centre
It appears that Windows sees me as being connected to multiple networks although I'm naturally only on one.
I assumed this would have been down to something like the additional routers (acting as WIFI access points only) would have mistakenly had DHCP left on or similar. This however is not the case.
Is this normal and just a "feature" of Vista? Any way to correct it or should I just not bother?? All appears to work fine, just a little annoyance.
Thanks
Mike
