The amount of spam I get is stupid!, I havent signed up to anything :confused:, its like every spam site knew when I became 18 years old and started spamming me from that moment on, thats from my junk folder, its a similar picture in the main folder too.
 
I have 82 in spam box and about 1000+ in inbox.

Its Windows Live not outlook, could never get outlook to work.
 
You're using Live mail, that's why.

You either entered your email address on a dodgy site or someone hates you.

Given that it has no real Junk/Spam filter other than its pretty basic "junk folder" that doesn't catch much, I find that hard to believe!

Even with IMF running on Exchange, I still get a dumpload through daily to one account.
 
If all these spam letters where true I'd have more money than bill gates!

Even in AOL I get spam now from the bank of ghana saying they can send me the monies all they need is my bank account!
 
Looks about right!... if I don't go and clear out my googlemail's spam bin every day by the end of the week theres about 300-400 messages in there all trying to sell me 'Viagra' or some such other crap!...

I very rearly put my email address into any pages or sign up to anything!... its just a 'Blitz' on a group of email address's randomly generated by a bot!...

What ever you do don't click 'Unsubscribe' in any of em!... you'll only recieve about a million times more mail then!!...

If you'r on MSN mail or Googlemail, just mark em as Spam/Junk and remember to clear out the filter/bin on a regular basis!...

Its nowt to worry about nower days!... unfortunatly!. (what a world we now live in!)
 
God I must be lucky. I'm lucky if I get more than 1 spam a week. In fact my spam filter does completely the opposite. It puts things in there which are actually thing I *need*.

Afaik, you don't need to sign up to anything, don't spammers just try combinations of email addresses like an autodialler? So if you have a common name or word in your address then your more likely to get spammed. But I could be wrong.

Is that why people on websites put there email like dot co dot uk and at etc..?

Is there anyway to totally clean out my hotmail in one go and not have the click each page? There is about 500 pages, I have about 6680 unread emails I want to delete them all.

57mb of mails I got, want all gone.

I have no basis for my idea but it just makes a logical sense. I'm sure someone sending spam mails would have a system in place to take common names and try adding numbers to the end of it etc etc.

Likewise a string replace to replace [at] and (at) and at with @.

I feel kinda left out. I only get a couple of spam mails a week and they go straight to the junk folder. Live mail seems to do an ok job for me.

Maybe you've picked up something from one of those sites with loose morals that your mother warned you about.
 
I get about 50 a week- all absolute nonsense that I have never signed up for. Makes me wonder why there are such cretins in this world that bother to make them in the first place.

All thanks to a pathetic little **** that goes by the name Mr Men on these forums. Gmail hasn't let a single one through to my inbox though so I have zero problems with it.
