Hi chaps just received gigabyte 7950 but card is not factory sealed. Should I return the card and ask for factory sealed card or is this some thing normal with overclockers as this happened to me in the past as well.
 
Lack of replies means this must be a normal thing where people receive items without shrink wrapped and factory sealed. So i take it nothing to worry about it and start testing the card :)
 
I don't think it is normal bud. Check the card all over for any signs of cosmetic damage and if any doubt let OcUK know about it. If all looks good, see how it runs :)
 
Majority do now, my Inno3D 580 was not sealed, my Gigabyte 670 Windofrce was not sealed, looking around the box there was no tell tale signs of entry.

I even looked on YouTube and reviews sites which did unboxing reveres and I could not see any seals.
 
Visually card seems fine although i haven't tested yet, it's just wasn't shrink wrapped and sealed and there was no seal on the anti static bag as well. The reply i got back from overclockers was sometimes they carry out quality checks on items so it's perfectley normal thing and nothing to worry about it.
