My 7970's came today, very happy with them, But in crossfire i am getting 98% on both constant! It can't be a bottleneck as i have a 3770k @ 4.5.

1600p bf4 everything max, well over 100fps, could that be it, pushing that many pixels?

I came from 580's so not really sure.

And thanks Matt for the afterburner link to setup xfire, very helpful.

I get the same mate. 98% on both my 7950's. Its a game bug i think. However a 60mb game patch was just released. Try it out and see if it improves things. I found it gave me better performance.

Sorry my bad bf3, got bf4 on the brain.

Hmm. Well if you have the latest 13.10 beta 2 drivers installed and ULPS disabled then id just ignore it.

thread hijack but does the bf4 patch install automaitcally or do you have to d/l and apply it?

Start up origin, right click bf4 and check for update. It should do it automatically upon starting origin though.

Try V-synch on/limiting the frame rate back and see what your % utilization is.
I used to run multiple EvE online clients without any V-synch and while client performance was great, I felt maxing out my GPU was not good for lifespan.

perhaps thats it. With no limit on the frame rate the GPU's are working flat, that would explain the high utilization. The juddering when V-synch on might be something to do with the frame pacing issues I have read about. I only run one card so I have never run in to similar issues. Have you tried a few drivers, see if there is a particular version that runs the best? Just a thought, best of luck.

Are you unhappy about only getting 98% usage on both GPU's? Because if so I honestly wouldn't worry about it, if your getting over 100fps on BF4 at 1600p, personally I'd be grinning from ear to ear :D
