Hi guys,
Mate of mine wants to sell his gaming laptop, is asking for £550. Specs are below. Sounds good, but thought as laptops aren't my expertise when it comes to performance and what i'd get gaming wise I'd come to you guys as you always give me good advice.
Specs are:
15.6" Matte Full HD LED Widescreen (1920x1080)
Intel® Core™i7 Quad Core Mobile Processor i7-3740QM (2.70GHz)
16GB SAMSUNG 1600MHz SODIMM DDR3 MEMORY (2 x 8GB) AMD® Radeon® HD 7970M - 2GB DDR5 Video RAM - DirectX® 11 1TB SSHD SOLID STATE Hybrid Drive
4x BLURAY ROM, 8x DVD ±R/±RW
Internal 9 in 1 Card Reader
Intel 2 Channel High Definition Audio + MIC/Headphone Jack - --GIGABIT LAN & WIRELESS INTEL® N135 802.11N (150Mbps) + BLUETOOTH 3 x USB 3.0 PORTS + 1 x USB 2.0 PORT AS STANDARD 1 X 1394a FIREWIRE PORT
Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit
Games i mainly play at the moment are World of Warcraft, Starcraft 2, Heroes of the Storm and some old rts games. Planning to play some new titles in the future. I'm sure it may be overkill to a certain extent but i need it fast and smooth for playing sc2 and wow online so extra is bound to help?
Many thanks in advance for your advice everyone.
