Those are Capacitors. Not sure I’d be happy with a backplate - assume a CPU block? Being bolted down on it.

Tbh its fine, i've done this before on an older ITX board for a few years and it never caused an issue. I see there's a rubber backing to it as well so should be more than fine.

What block is it wingman? I know the German block company re issued their backplates because they didn't confirm to new AM4 standards. I'll dig out the name. I wouldn't use it as is.

Edit. It was watercool, but I think it was actually the front bracket not the back one. My watercool block just screws into the standard backplate.
