Hynix mem is the stuff they use in DELLs, woluld be surprised if it runs at CAS2 tbh.

Worth a try though! I have some Crucial standard 3200 stuff which runs fine at 250 3,3,3,6,2T.

my hynix can go up to 230, but any thing pass that iut fails memtest.

Is that using your current CPU and mobo? If not, it may be different!

yea it was, at first i wanted to keep the RAM and CPU in sync, but then my ram wouldnt go any further so i used a divider.

found taht i need to overclok to at least 2.750 (what i ahve) to jsut out perform the 225x11 with sync with ram just to tie even ata the CSS stress test....

I tried all ways to get my scores up when 06 came out and I have to say that memory timings and speed were very dissapointing in their effect. So I don't worry about the memory being in sync and I think you will find that the current crop of AMD's are that affected, unlike the Bartons etc.
My best scores come from high CPU and graphics frequency.

Oh! I forgot to mention that I've tried all the pie stuff and burn-in programmes but I don't usually bother with them now. The best and most speedy test of stability I have found is BF2!
If it dies almost as soon as you start a map, your unstable.
If BF2 plays for 10 minutes it will almost certainly play for hours!
I know I'll be shot down in flames but this is my observation from a good few hours 'tinkering'
