Afternoon all, silly question alert!

Im planning to get my AV amp / speaker setup after Christmas so at the moment im looking for a temporary solution to get my TV's sound coming out of my Hi-Fi speakers.

I have one phono input (white / red) on my Hi-Fi which is currently in use by my HTPC, does such a thing (some sort of switch / adapter?) exist that will let me hook up another set of phono inputs to this 1 input? I was planning on just using my TV's headphone 3.5mm socket and buying a 3.5mm -> phono cables to hook up the tele to the Hi-Fi if my above question was possible.

Thanks in advance.

Yes, you can buy external boxes for approx £20 that allows you to connect stereo audio cables from 3 different sources into an amp with 1 stereo input.

I don't see why not, the video feed is redundant but that shouldn't matter.

I was going to offer you an old one I've got but at that price you'd be better getting it new.

I dont see why that wont work.. Obviously only one system can be played through the speakers at a time, I just have a splitter ant i just put which ever connection i want into that splitter and just keep changing to meet my needs.
