Is this possible with uTorrent?

Usually I have one torrent which I want to be downloaded as fast as possible (#1 in the list).

Is it possible that I give all the download rights to that torrent first, and anything not used by that torrent is split between the remaining torrents? So that the first torrent in the list is always downloading as fast as it can.

Thanks.

I think if you just put it as #1 in the list it just means that will be downloaded first (if you set the number of active torrents to 1). Not sure you can allow it the full bandwidth possible then split the rest.

i just right click it, give it High bandwidth priority, and do the same for all the files in that torrent

Tried that - doesn't really do much....that just gives it proirity within the torrent its being downloaded in.

If I have two torrents and I have set all the files in one torrent to high prority, they would download file, but if i pause the second torrent, the down speed would increase on the first torrent.

I want it as such, so that the first torrent is always downloading at the highest rate possible.

I am guessing that this is not possible because of the complicatedness of it and the simplicity of utorrent? Which is fine - i won't be switching even if i can get this feature on other software.

Right-click on the torrent itself and choose 'high' from 'bandwidth allocation'?

Are you sure you're not just maxxing out the speed peers can deliver?
