Is this possible?

Hi guys, looking to simplify my setup and get a new pc... But have always been in love with the idea of a small case PC, one about the size of a 360... But I also want it to be more than just an office machine, and for it to be silent

Anyone have any reccomendations on how I would get the following and any case suggestions for a nice sleek, small design?

8800GTS
300GB+ HD
DVD writer
2+GB ram
Very quiet

And of course the small (i'm guessing micro atx too?) case. Any suggestions and price guesses would be much appreciated. If this kind of stuff is not possible any idea on what is possible and anything cose?

Silverstone do a lot of small cases.

uATX will be what you want for something like a 306 sized case. Alternativly you could get a SSF case...Shuttle etc.

As for it being a power machine...all I can say is it'll get baking hot in there.

Mmmm a computer you can also bake cakes in, a fat geeks dream.... *dribbles*

Aaanyway..
If you're after something that small then the best bet is something down the barebones line that comes with a custom sized motherboard. The problem will be trying to crowbar a biffa of an 8800 in there. Thats gonna be the thing thats stops you getting it 360 sized.

If you're feeling up to it, make one yourself! Hide the PSU externally somehow, then find some kind of riser card to allow you to mount the gfx card on its side. Bit of an epic project though...

Some cases and uATX mobos for MediaCenter PCs some with anglers, so that you can have your devices still in your pc, but 'on their side' as it were.
I forget where I saw them, and for what connection they were, PCI, PCI-E or AGP.

been looking at cases and barebones... Goin to be difficult to get what I want especially since I need to run at least 2 monitors from it too...

Some of those silverstone cases are good, and been looking at some shuttle pcs... but they're expensive and dont really have what I wants... hmmmm
