basically weve just had a conservatory built, the problem is ive forgot to ask the builders to run some network cable for me

so basically what im wanting to do is take the wireless signal from the routor and split that into 2/3 wired connections in the conservatory

so to sum up i need to acess the wireless from a 360, media centre and maybe another pc

How would i do this ? what hardware do i need excluding a wireless routor as we already have one

Wireless access point that can work as a client, and a switch with enough ports.
The Linksys WRT54GL (and some other routers too) can do it in a single unit (you might need to use some of the third party firmware that exists, www.linksysinfo.org is your friend).

Yup, but it's more expensive than my suggestion - the WRT54GL is the same price as the WAP54G, and doesn't need a switch to go with it, unless you actually need the 7 ports (you'd need to use one to connect to the wireless AP) on that switch (in which case a WRT54GL and a 4/5 port switch would still be about £10 cheaper).
