Hello every one, I have just finished my first build and loaded windows 7 64b.
I created a partion of 40Gb and after loading the OS and drivers I still have 21Gb free. The rest of the space on the HDD (about 600Gb ) I labled as drive D.
I thought it was a good idea to have partition to keep the OS seperate from other apps and general storage. Does this seem OK so far?
When some programs are loaded you do not get a choice about where they are going to be saved, can I get over this so that all future programs are installed on D or is this not possible?
Sorry if these are stupid questions, I expect you can tell I'm a noobe.
Thanks
46fan.
